Introducing Rise: A Culinary Journey Inspired by Korea
Rise is a project born from the early days of EVETT, created to share the beauty of Korean cuisine with chefs from around the world. Inspired by Chef Joseph’s rich experiences in Korea, this initiative invites talented young chefs from abroad to visit, showcase their culinary skills, and create special courses inspired by their time in Korea.
We are excited to introduce the latest chefs participating in this project: Nat Wolf and Brent Smoller.
Nat Wolf, this year’s MasterChef Australia winner, may be new to the professional kitchen, but she has already captivated audiences with her innovative approach, focusing on local produce and seasonality. With a background in Thai cuisine and a mastery of global culinary techniques, we’re eager to see how she will bring her unique perspective to Korean ingredients.
Brent Smoller, a talented young chef from San Francisco, is currently a Chef de Partie at Core by Clare Smyth in London. Brent has refined his culinary skills at Corey Lee’s restaurant group and San Ho Won in San Francisco, where he developed a passion for blending traditional Korean Flavors with modern cooking techniques.
